“I first started working with Gay Landeta and Create in 2010 and have had many benefits from the many times I have worked with Gay by my side.
The most recent decision to work with Gay was at the beginning of 2015. My business was in it’s 6th year and was flowing along very nicely. However, I could see that the next couple of years would need some refocus and redirection. The obvious choice for me was Create and I’m so glad I did. After all I needed to create something new and working with Gay had brought me many benefits in the past so I knew it would work for me again.
I am now 18 months into the process and have had massive leaps forward in my business which has benefited my clients and also myself in ways I couldn’t even imagine. What has transpired in my business by working with Gay is amazing and if left to my own devices I would not have made any movement at all. I am a planner and very self-disciplined however I needed encouragement, support and the right amount of motivation to get me from cruising to full speed.
In just over 12 months I increased my service range by 50%, created greater value for every service I offer and I have been able to leverage my time so I am still working the same hours per week in my business.
My business is very unique and I find it a comfort and simply invaluable to have Gay as my Business/Marketing Coach. Gay is someone who has been there, done that, and keeps expanding her own knowledge and skills. As Gay expands – she pushes me to expand my thinking and my goals which has a direct impact on my clients. As Gay grows – I grow and – my clients grow.
My business continues to go from strength to strength and I’m excited to continue working with Gay to see what we create into the future!!”

Our Missy Wing (a 3 and a bit year old Maltese-Shitzu) was mauled early December last year, traumatic for her, for Lola (her doggy sister, a 2 1/2 year old Maltese-Lhasa recently rescued – her story here ) and us. The dog involved was a neighbour’s and well cared for, it was just a series of unfortunate incidents. Fortunately Wing did not receive any internal injuries or broken bones and by January was physically fine. Although vibrational essences helped, neither she nor Lola were really getting over it. Her anxiety was heightened around large dogs and unexpected events and she looked worried all the time. Lola stepped up to protection mode but her tail was still in playful love-bug mode giving very confusing signals to everyone. She was also barking all hours (poor neighbours, poor us) and could not stop herself.
I decided to do a surrogate balance for them one Sunday. I did Lola first with the goal of feeling included in our household, part of a team and safe. As a recent rescue that seemed relevant, especially as she had tried to walk home during our Christmas visit to Tenterfield (we think she thought she was going to be re-homed AGAIN).
Surrogate testing is used to muscle check and my partner stepped into that role. On checking, Lola’s focus, centering, communication, rhythms with her body and her sense of being in charge of herself were all switched off. That made sense with the way she was acting and the fact that she had recently had a bad reaction to chicken and her skin was still inflamed. Switching these elements on required working with the kidney meridian (where we store fear) and balancing out her listening skills (which had been super sensitive even for her) plus some emotional stress release.
I then worked with Wing with a similar goal but added in being the team leader for Lola as she does like to be in charge and she had taken that role until being bitten. On muscle checking she was over focused, with her centering, body rhythm, rhythm with herself and being in charge of herself all switched off. Again that made sense. Getting her back in balance required working with her lung meridian (where we store our self worth) and kidney meridian (anxiety), her vision (which had kept her on high alert watching for danger) and resetting her connection with herself.
Immediately we finished they started actively playing with each other (which they hadn’t ever really done as Wing had been mauled too early in their relationship and they had not progressed to real play). In addition, that night and subsequently they slept through without barking. Phew. Lola was more able to hear commands and respond and Wing stopped watching and constantly stressing. She even started looking like her little happy self again and wag her tail.
To be honest they have recently become a bit barky – egging each other on now. I think it is the upcoming moon! Last night after writing this I went home and did a follow up. Again, amazing. Lola was experiencing a genetic miasm. As part Lhasa, she was bred to be a noise maker – but was going way overboard and wouldn’t acknowledge us or hear the quiet signal once she got started. Wing needed a re-balance in the systems of relationship area – and, yes, she and Lola have really bonded and play a lot together and she was being caught up in Lola’s barking behaviour instead of quietening when asked.
Afterwards, they both crashed. Wing slept quietly all night. Lola had a short bark at a possum in the proverbial army boots but stopped herself immediately and came up for a ‘good girl’ tail wag.
Many would say they are just dogs and would have been fine, true, but with much less joy for both them and us. I felt very grateful to be able to help put Wing’s smile back on her face and help Lola settle into our home.
I got this lovely email recently from an old client ….
Dear Gay, Hi there! I am the lady that came to you sooo many years ago with my son Scott, who had in-operable brain cysts and Autism. The journey we took with you was just the beginning of a life journey to Scott becoming empowered to become the best that he could be and on his path to discovering his inner talents.
He is now almost thirteen and a cadet in the PCYC. He attends camps and is very community involved. He is a volunteer in the S.O.U.L Soup Kitchen, preparing food and going on the delivery runs feeding and helping the homeless.
He is an affable young man who would not be where he is today without all the kinesiology and work with you. Scott will always have a learning delay in maths and literacy but, apart from those issues, a gap is not noticeable. He has all the appropriate emotions, feelings, conversational skills and life skills that any parent with a child on the spectrum seeks for their child to master. Your little booklet with the Brain Gym movements is still used as our daily bible. I recommend you to all I meet even though we now are living in Perth. A big thank-you as I feel very lucky to have started with you when Scott was so young and feel I am enjoying the rewards as a parent today and for the years to come as a result.
Heartfelt thanks, Cathy
Scotts mum brought Scott in when he was 4. I always remember he turned up for his first session in his Clark Kent suit. He had not yet been diagnosed but his Mum had recognised that he was different and was on the search for support. We did a number of sessions, some Educational Kinesiology, some Transformational Kinesiology and noticed, step by step, him becoming more and more in charge of himself, even at such a young age. He was the first child I did the TK ‘Mantrams’ Balance with and he intuitively knew that using his special word gave him super powers. I introduced him and his Mum to the Brain Gym activities which they have continued to use to help Scott in his journey.
As she says….
I would like share the joy of the benefits of your beautiful profession as without it I wouldn’t be in the position as I am today, having our boy so engaged in life.
I even used the Brain Gym exercises two years ago when Scott was in the Brisbane Mater Hospital when he was seriously ill with Oestiomylitis and Septicemia. The teachers that came to the ward looked at your little book and thought it was fantastic. Children like Scott do spend multiple times in hospital and Brain Gym is so useful at such times and in any heightened emotional situations. It goes beyond just self control, it facilitates a flow-on effect that other people notice.
Our neurologist is amazed with Scott. I think back to when he was in grade 1 when his brain was in such chemical disturbance from the 38 brain cysts, the death of tissue and brain matter, in addition to the effects of Austism. Scott could not sit for 2 minutes in school. He had to have the teacher sitting next to him and was unable to center himself or connect with all the chaos in his brain. This same boy today, more cysts in the brain and still Autistic, goes to a main stream school and sits and works in-depth in 60 minute sessions unassisted. WOW!!! That is truly the application of Brain Gym and the other methods that he has taken on in his life.
Kinesiology and other methods you teach are as vital as food and water. Living by those techniques your taught him helps him to sustain the balance in his life.
It is beautiful to hear such lovely stories back from clients and I have no doubt that much of Scott’s beautiful nature comes from such love and acceptance from his wonderful Mum. Here is a picture of the gorgeous Scott with his favourite Skylanders and, as his mum says, “Notice he is always happy. I know it is because he is accepted as perfect the way he is and beams because he knows he is happy with himself.”
And Scott adds that he is very pleased and proud to have his story here and that this blog may get other kids to find their strengths too.
What a delight.
I received this lovely testimonial today. In it Jen called me a ‘kind leader’. It has evoked many thoughts, some of which are the old stories about ‘who me’ or ‘awww shucks’ … but from a quieter place I know that, at least at work, it is absolutely what I intend to be for all my clients, business or personal. For me, being a leader is invoking the leader in others, that place deep within all of us that does know how to step up. Sometimes it needs to be summoned from a very deep and lost place, but watching it emerge and supporting clients to embrace their own knowing is pure joy.
So Jen, I am not even sure if that is what you meant 🙂 but thank you for that reflection, it has taken my commitment to my own inner leadership and supporting others in developing theirs to a deeper level.
And yes, KINESIOLOGY DOES ROCK! xx
Marketing with Heart.
I did some Business positioning and marketing processes with Gay Landeta,
It really did feel like marketing with heart.
Her process is clear and systematic but the implementation is tailor made and delightfully spontaneous.
She had a way of speaking to me, so I could define what it is I am doing and how to do it.
I absolutely recommend her as a go-to for any practitioner that can’t get out to their own way
or who feels overwhelmed about their message and how to send it.
If I could describe her in two words off the top of my head it would be “kind Leader”.
Thanks Gay, I look forward to some Laser Mentoring along the way.
Kinesiology rocks, Kinesiologist business mentor – even better!

Here is another beautiful experience shared by a client. If you have been considering if regular visits might transform your life you might enjoy being inspired by Catherine. When she arrived she was feeling hopeless, it was only early January and already she had no resources for the challenging year ahead. She needed to be OK during the huge changes she was facing at work and within her family.
With monthly visits to support her journey, Catherine’s year flowed more gracefully than ever before. By gently chipping away and then reinforcing each change Catherine transformed the way she perceived her life and the way she interacted with others. She developed better communication skills and made constructive changes to how she approached her workload, reigniting the joy she originally found in her work. Her home life became happier and her partner even came in for a few sessions to get him on track. With her commitment to her personal and spiritual growth supported by our monthly sessions her changes became hardwired and she was able to retain her connection to herself, regardless of what the universe threw at her.
Clear eyes, full heart. This is how I feel now, after regular monthly sessions with Gay.
When I first arrived at her digs I was crying all the time: fatigued by work, bereft after the death of my father, inconsolably negative about a court case that I was facing, and devastated at the ending of a contract that had brought me much kudos and responsibility.
I was unable to look outside of this world and I knew that I would not make it through the year without a complete overhaul. Gay worked her magic patiently, listening is one of her most effective strategies: simple and significant when you are at your lowest ebb.
Kindness and mindfulness were given to me and I was amazed at how I responded to this because the sessions seemed too effortless, so profound that at first I did not believe that anything was happening – how could it, I didn’t seem to be doing any work on it?
Then she showed me the picture of the snake (2013 was the year of the water snake) coming through the window of her kitchen: seeking refuge from the nearby creek, preparing to shed its skin, potentially dangerous, potentially benevolent.
For some reason I resonated with this as Gay was able to explain that we really do the rehearsal for life in our thoughts, before our actions. Seeing positive potential is a great gift but can only be done when the self can acknowledge the pain and suffering that has brought them to the place of enlightenment. I’m not saying I am enlightened, but I get more glimpses of this now than I ever had before. It does not diminish the snakes of pain and suffering, rather I have learned to pay my respects and live in parallel despite the remaining issues.
Yes, opening up to resisting negative self-talk, or putting too much emphasis on the outcome has changed me and reduced anxiety. I pass this on at my work to mentor my younger colleagues and genuinely enable them to seek their own potential without fear of self-annihilation.
I have taken up horse-riding, AFL membership, and just spending more time with my children who are wiser than I had previously thought they were. This has literally been a life-saver; I had nothing else to give. The next time I cried as much as I did when I first met Gay was after my return from India last November: overwhelmed, this time with joy, life force, blessings and challenges. April 2014.
We sometimes hit what feels like an endless stretch of challenges, when that happens it is easy to give in to the mainstream perspective that life is just a bowl of suffering! Here is a lovely reminder that we CAN change our life!
These words were just pm-ed to me from a regular client who recently came in for a top up, she was feeling overloaded by work and kids and husband and was fed up with being angry and feeling sad.
So to sing your praises *again* …. I got my period tonight and realised that I did not have my usual pre period depression, insecurity, or anger! (Except for a bit of crankiness with the kids yesterday!) I also did not get my typical 2 day whopper of a headache like usual!! Yay!!!! Very impressed!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!! Xxx
I hadn’t seen this client for year or so when she came in last month – it was so wonderful to hear the positive change in her life. She had returned to take the work she had done to a deeper level.
These stories are typical of my clients so (while each individuals journey is unique) I hope they inspire you with possibilities!
‘Sue’ arrived feeling she was blocked from her real potential. She needed to release old issues with her family and the guilt and resentment that was building inside. She was also concerned about a pain in her right ear that had been cleared in an MRI but was not going away. We discovered the pain was related to her childhood and had started to crystallise into her energy. Leaving it unchecked may have led to more serious issues, releasing it cleared up the presenting pain and allowed her to think rationally and feel less emotionally involved with the family drama. She also realised how out of sync with herself she had been.
Over the next three sessions we released her need to live up to expectations and dealt with the anxiety that paralysed her. She let go of her past painful experiences and moved through forgiveness to acceptance. She and her boyfriend decided, sadly but truthfully, that they wanted different things and parted however, as she was ready to honour herself first for the first time in her life, she was able to accept that and move on. Six months later she and her boyfriend decided to have another go and, with her new improved perspective of herself, they created a totally new relationship, honest, healthy and respectful, and are getting married later this year.
When I first came to see Gay I was at a complete loss. All I knew was that I needed help. I was desperately unhappy, had no confidence and didn’t even know where to begin. After just one session I gained a deeper insight into myself and began the amazing journey towards living honestly and lovingly. Each time I have met with Gay (only 4 times in the last three years) I have walked away with a tool kit of clarity and inner strength to move forward. Her approach is genuine, comforting and completely personalised. For me, it’s like drinking tea with a friend and walking away a better version of me. I cannot recommend her highly enough and will never be able to thank her for the amazing impact her time and beautiful skills have had on my life. March 2014
I thought I would post a few case studies so readers can get a bit more of an idea of how I work…. ‘Jo’, a long time client (her story and testimonial below) instigated this! She keeps calling me the ‘Forensic Kinesiologist’ (which cracks me up!) but she says she cannot think of another way to describe my dedication to putting it all together and leaving no stone unturned. Which is true. I love finding all the bits and helping my clients be free! anyway, she keeps asking me to write up case studies and was happy to go first.
I hope you enjoy reading the journeys’ and get a little inspired about your own potential!
‘Jo’ arrived feeling she had lost her path. Despite being an authority at work and normally skilled at healing herself, she was exhausted, her expertise was taken for granted but not acknowledged and she felt bullied at work. During our initial exploration the impact of the victim/rescuer roles became apparent. These are associated with the Atlantean Miasm which, once we achieve a certain stage of personal development, block our growth.
In our first session we cleared her birth time. She was a post war baby, born while her parents were in a camp in a foreign country. Clearing her birth time enabled her to start to realign with her purpose. Jo arrived at her second session feeling stronger. She was standing up for herself and work was now recognizing her abilities. She still felt a bit stuck and scared, particularly in her creative expression or when she was called to give a presentation. This block related back to her early childhood use of a local dialect which few people could understand. Her point of growth was to be confident in her expression, particularly use of language. She exuded that confidence next visit and was ready to step out. We discerned that, to follow her path, Jo needed to be more open to learn. We cleared old links with her mother and she let go of conflict, reigniting her appreciation of beauty in all forms. Her life opened up in ways she could not imagine.
Recently Jo returned for a top up, it was time to take this strength to a deeper level and stand up for what she believed in, especially to close family members (her main challenge). We discerned she needed to reclaim her individual identity, a deeper aspect of the Atlantean Miasm. In her follow-up Jo reported she had created new healthier relationships and was more focused on her life goals and creativite pursuits, having reclaimed her own life. We then re-established her connection to Love and Wisdom, one of the three primordial Rays that influence us, Jo now feels confident and open to whatever the universe offers her!
Thank you Gay for your wonderful Kinesiology skills. Each time that I have seen you, to clear issues or to get past a significant problem, I have been awe struck (and grateful), by your ability to get to the root cause of the problem, be it a belief , emotion, or cellular memory. Changes are always felt after the session (like a new found clarity and weight off ones shoulders). The changes continue over the days and weeks after the sessions until the issue is no longer an issue in various situations ie I have found that the cleared issues are long lasting. I also appreciate your warm open and non judgmental professional manner and your ability to catch the inner saboteur. I often recommend you to others – be it a physical or learning problem or a spiritual quest. Feb 2014

Wonderful feedback this morning from a client who came in with her dog (who was having a few ‘issues’) on Saturday …. Little miss doggy is now calm and happy to hang with her humans, instead of pacing and barking all night. Yay! I worked with the relationship between the two (like I do with Mum’s and bub’s) and pup’s Aspergers-ish nature. Bit of strategy and figuring out and some good old kinesiology for both. I used some traditional Touch For Health and wonderful Transformational Kinesiology with some essences to take home for both. Fun stuff! Bet they have been together for a few lives! 🙂

Wow, I feel so privileged to work with my clients…..
Just received by text form a gorgeous new client …. “my chest felt as wide and open as the sky after seeing u. Thanks….
And yesterday I heard that after our business mentoring session a client who had been a little empty for bookings (like almost nothing) had 11 (!!!!) calls right after leaving. We knew we cleared some big blocks as well as working on her business but how cool is that!
I do love my work!
Happy Friday the 13th, it was the day my parents met so lucky for all my clan!
Have fun, Gay
